Delete your Gloomhold account

Effective 16 October 2026

In short: you can delete your Gloomhold online account and everything attached to it in the app, straight away. If you can't use the app, email us and we'll do it for you.

This page is for players who used Gloomhold's online play (leaderboards, clans and clan war). If you never used online play, Gloomhold holds no account for you, and you can remove your game by uninstalling the app.

Option 1: in the app (instant)

  1. Open Gloomhold and go to Settings, then Online.
  2. Choose Delete online account and confirm.

Your online account is deleted straight away. Your game progress on the device is left as it is.

Option 2: by email

If you can't open the app, for example because you've uninstalled it or lost your phone, email with the subject "Delete my Gloomhold account". Tell us your in-game player name and roughly when you last played so we can find the right account. We'll delete it within 30 days and reply when it's done.

What gets deleted

  • your anonymous online account, generated name, avatar and age band
  • your leaderboard entries and player card snapshot
  • the players you blocked and the reports you made
  • your clan membership, join requests, mutes, war points and claimed war rewards (a clan you led passes to another member, and a clan left empty is deleted)

What stays

  • Clan chat messages you sent. They are phrase ids with no text, and stay in the clan's recent history (the newest 200) with you removed as the sender.
  • Reports other players made about you. Kept for moderation, without any personal data.
  • Finished clan war results. They stay without your id.
  • Data on your device. Uninstall the app or clear its storage to remove it.
  • Purchases. Google Play and RevenueCat keep their own records for as long as the law requires. Email us if you want that record handled too.
  • Ads. Google AdMob handles ad information under its own policy. You can reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings.

Deleting your account can't be undone. You can use online play again later and start a new, empty account. More detail is in our privacy policy.
