Terms of Service
Effective 16 October 2026
In short: Gloomhold is a game for fun. Play fair, don't cheat or abuse other players, and know that gems and other items are only for use in the game and have no cash value.
These terms are between you and Six Paths Software Ltd ("we", "us"), the maker of Gloomhold. By playing, you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
The game
Gloomhold is a single-player idle dungeon RPG with optional online features (leaderboards, clans, clan war and phrase chat) for players aged 13 or over. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to play it on your own device. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell the game.
Your account and online play
- Online play uses an anonymous account. Keep your device secure. If you delete your account or lose your device we cannot recover the account.
- Names, clan names, chat and reports are chosen from fixed lists. Don't try to get around that.
- Don't cheat, exploit bugs, automate play, use modified versions, abuse other players or misuse the report and block tools.
- If you break these rules we may reset scores, remove clan memberships, mute you or suspend your online access.
- You can delete your online account at any time in the app (Settings > Online), or see our delete your account page.
Virtual items and purchases
- Gems, chests, boosters and memberships are a licence to use digital content in the game. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money and can't be transferred. Chest odds are shown before you open them.
- Purchases are made through Google Play, whose terms and refund rules apply alongside these. Your statutory rights are not affected: under UK consumer law digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If something you bought doesn't work, contact us or the store and we'll put it right.
Ads
Ads only play when you choose to watch one for a reward.
Changes to the game
We may change, rebalance or end features, including online services, and will give notice in the app where reasonable.
Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights as a consumer. Apart from that, the game is provided as it is, and we are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts can hear any dispute, though if you live elsewhere in the UK or are a consumer in another country you keep the protection of your local law and courts.
